Romance SCAMS – USA Romance Scams – Learn from my romance mistakes! This is the real conversation with a few privacy edits that were needed.

Don’t waste your money or buy, send these people anything! I met this person on an online dating apt. Bottom line – Wanted airfare + $1550.00 for an expedited VISA.

Romance scammers lure people into a fake romantic relationships online. They are active on dating apps, dating sites, and social media sites like Facebook. Be very careful!

Once the victim is emotionally involved, the scammer starts asking for money, often for a supposed medical emergency, travel expense, visas, bills, or other urgent needs. They claim they have no money or someone stole money from them or whatever. Many scammers claim to be in the military and stationed abroad or have some other ready reason for not being able to meet in person.

We had texted on the phone many times before this conversation, I was going to include those texts but I think they were deleted because I couldn’t find them. I meet her threw her “bother” Warren on an online dating site and he said that she was interested in me. (Ya right) LOL – Her name was Staci from Germany.
